I've been eagerly anticipating my visit to this renowned donut shop, having heard fantastic reviews and seen countless posts on social media. The moment to indulge in their donuts has finally arrived, and I must say, they did not disappoint. The donuts here are exceptionally good, boasting a delightfully chewy texture. The filling is flavorful and complements the dough perfectly. What sets these donuts apart is their balanced sweetness, which is noticeably less intense than what you typically find in other donut shops across the States. This subtlety in sweetness enhances the overall experience, making each bite a delightful treat.

Fresh donuts worth the ~1 hour wait. Tip: Bring a book, and the line won’t feel too long! There were 4 donut flavor options. I grabbed one of each and thought they were all great. Flavors change seasonally. Hot chocolate was also high-quality. There is a cute seating area to hang out in after grabbing your sweet treat.

I love this small, minority, female-owned business! @pamelakvuong takes such pride in her product, her shop, and their service. Flavors change every couple of weeks and it’s always delicious. Just be aware that this is a business where the demand outweighs the capacity, so expect a line. They do a great job trying to keep people informed on quantities as you wait. And the baristas are awesome so order a drink too!

Hi Flourbox, we bought 10 donuts on Thursday and the first one we ate, the coconut pandan, had a very long piece of hair in it. It was wrapped around inside the donut and was very hard to pull out. See photos attached. We love your donuts and have lined up many times to get them. But eating a piece of long hair on the first bite of the donut made us quite upset and worried about the hygiene. So wanted to send feedback regarding this experience. We also tried to contact you via email, as there was no other contact method, but got no response.

I finally got to taste the donuts at Flourbox and after all the excitement I’m happy to say they did not disappoint. If you prefer the sweeter side of pastries, this may not be the spot for you. The donuts here are more balanced and the quality/flavor of the ingredients really shine through. Your first few times I recommend trying one of each flavor. After that you’ll know which flavors you gravitate towards. (I’ve realize that I like the tropical/asian flavors most). This week’s favs: passion fruit, coffee cookies & cream. Last week’s favs: coconut pandan, jasmine milk tea. Tip: get there early if you want the more choice. In my experience that’s weekdays at 10 and weekends 9.30.

My friend was in line for almost two hours. She shared with me banana caramel and everything kimchi. Banana caramel was not too sweet, creamy, proportional cream and donut ratio. Kimchi donut was interesting, surprisingly good. It is not sweet. It is like creamy kimchi with little spicy. I am not sure if I still would wait two hours since I have good donuts that don’t have a long wait.

I came here 30 minutes before opening and the line was wrapped around the block. After it opened, I waited another 30 minutes. I think I rather come here at 910am so even if I am waiting I am in the shade. There is a small parking lot that fits like 10 cars. Donuts were good, but wouldn't get them every week. They were airy and not overly sweet. Surpsingly the corn donut was a mellow flavor and not like candy corn. The chocolate chunk donut had a mix of sweet and salty to it. The coffee drinks were ok, nothing special. The brownie was also underwhelming. Cookie was decent. Lots of indoor/covered seating area.

Flour Box has the some of best donuts in Seattle and the 1+ hour wait is totally worth it. Their unique donuts are brioche instead of typical cake. Very unique fillings makes every visit fun - they change their menu about every 2 weeks. This past visit, we ordered the tapioca coconut, raspberry creme, and yuzu custard. So I'm delicious!! 😋 They are open Thursday through Sunday from 10am until they sell out. Usually sold out by 12pm. Check their Instagram for the current menu and status on donut availability 🍩
